The end is nigh!

Today is the day!

Today is the day that we take Diane (MiL) back to the hospital so see if her neck has healed enough to take the cervical collar off! so theres finally light at the end of the tunnel and things are slowly returning to normality here in the FAST household.

CBD Oil and balm

We've done absolutely everything we can to ensure that Di had a full recovery, including numerous alternative therapies such as cannabis for pain relief, laser therapy to boost the healing process and CBD oil and balm too. So now we're crossing our fingers, toes, arms, legs and eyes for good news tomorrow, wish her luck!

Almonds in Blossom
The weather has started to warm up a little now so we are treated to the beautiful sight of the almond blossom again all around this region, which means it has also become perfect weather for riding again!

My motorcycle
As some of you may remember last year I started restoring and customising my motorcycle so here's a shot of what she looks like now. There's still a fair bit of work to be done but she just keeps getting better and better :)

Leather Mjolnir Patches
One of the skills I really want to develop this year is leather working, so I've been playing around with little bits and bobs here and there, hopefully I'll find more time to practice once everything settles down here again.

Thank you all so much for all of your support and for continuing to visit for Five on Friday, I know I've been a pretty poor host of late since I haven't had the time for blogging but just bear with me, things will be business as usual very soon :)

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend, thanks for stopping by!

Oh yes...time for you guys to really be able to enjoy spring with some riding and some good hikes. I imagine the almond harvest will be a lot of work in a couple of months! Take care!
